Parlez is seeking a talented in-house Menswear Designer to join our team. In this role, you will collaborate closely with our design and production teams, actively participating in every stage of the collection creation process. Your expertise and insights will be instrumental in shaping the future collections of Parlez.
Launched in 2012, Parlez is a menswear brand based out of Bristol, UK. We strive to create high-quality garments made for everyday life, offering a full range of jersey, cut & sew and accessories. Our collections have always been heavily influenced by the history and aesthetics of sailing, coupled with influences that range from travels, classic work wear and iconic design eras.

EXPERIENCE & SKILLS
- 3 Years experience in a Menswear Design
- Experience working for a streetwear company or have a keen interest in.
- A large knowledge of fabrics and construction
- Experience working to tight deadlines with quick turnarounds.
- Able to organise a large volume of files efficiently.
- An understanding of sustainable design methods and the impacts through the supply chain
- Be comfortable working in a small team.
- Must be competent in the adobe suite including Photoshop & Illustrator
- Must be able to use Microsoft suite.
Some of the roles required are listed below.
Conduct thorough research on current fashion trends and fabric advancements. Collaborate with the creative director to create mood boards and conceptualize ideas for upcoming seasons.
Work closely with the creative director and design team to develop innovative products based on market data and trends. Contribute to the creation of seasonal collections that align with the brand's vision.
Prepare comprehensive tech packs, ensuring accurate and detailed information is communicated effectively to our suppliers. Maintain clear communication channels to ensure the correct garments are produced.
Collaborate with the production team to ensure a smooth sampling process. Provide timely feedback and comments to refine and improve sample garments.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to deliver essential product information that enhances the selling process. Provide key insights and details about the collections to support marketing initiatives.
