It's a pretty varied mix that ranges from some lo-fi Delroy Edwards to British funk from Cymande and the tape music of Henry Flynt. I've based most of the selection around the theme of plants and spiritualism. I've done this in line with some projects I'm currently working on.
How did you get started in the music scene and what inspired you to get involved?
As a young teen I was into punk and post hardcore, but I got into DJing through grime and hip hop in the early 2000s, and that interest evolved into UK Funky after going to Ayia Napa in 2008. Not long after, I moved to Bristol and my love for the incredible clubnight and party scene here grew. I was started running a blog and club night called Bass Ache and then five(ish) years ago I met a few new mates and we started Sprung.
When making music and playing DJ sets, I try to find inspiration in all sorts of weird areas - from rom-com movies, to cults and folk traditions.
What have been your music highlights of the year?

How would you describe your style and what are your favourite brands?
I have to be pretty clean cut in my day job and so I enjoy wearing Universal Works for a nice balance between classic menswear and workwear. For a more leisurely look, I enjoy Copson, Satta and Mister Green.
